Saturday 25th October The Royal British Legion hosted a Centenary Festival of Remembrance.  Public were invited to an evening of Remembrance and entertainment.

Harworth Brass Band played a selection of music including war-time favourites such as Keep Smiling Through, The White Cliffs of Dover and a collection of Glen Miller swing tunes.  Sea Cadets performed the Drum Head and the Girlguiding  choir sang a melody of songs.   The highlight for us 303 Worksop Squadron was to show our skills at marching.  The Cadets did a fantastic job with their Continuity Drill (see video).

The evening ended after The Last Post followed by a  two minutes silence with a fall of poppies and Reveille.

All in all it was a great if not poignant evening.  Well done to all who took part.
