Gliding gives cadets another opportunity to fly. Gliding will further a cadet’s knowledge of how aircraft operate, again giving them a true hands on experience with aircraft. If cadets show their aptitude with the aircraft, there are chances for them to go on further courses to enable them to further their piloting skills, with the goal for the cadet to be able to fly the aircraft alone, to go solo.
